And good try with Twitter, Badlands peoples!

Is it too soon in this administration to start a pool about Sean Spicer's mental health? You know, how long before the meltdown, what sort of drugs he'll show up a decade from now after rehab admitting to, etc.? I don't think so.

I haven't finished White Trash: The 400-Year Untold History of Class in America by Nancy Isenberg, yet, so it could end bad and I could hate it and all that. But so far, I think it's a must-read by everyone. Liberal, conservative, or even in the middle. Blacks and whites. There are a lot of things she is going over that I did know. And some of you will know. But I haven't read about it in so long, and the context gets lost. Other books have covered things we didn't know about history or things we weren't taught. But the thing getting me about this book is that some of these things we HAVE been taught. Or at least I was. But when you are older, there is much better understanding of what these things actually mean. We need to know where we come from and how America was really founded. This class war has been going on long before we were a country. The class wars are why we are a country. There are also some various places all the racial animosity comes from, too. At the time, yeah, black people were looked upon as a lesser species. But so were poor whites. There were some people who thought industriousness and discipline could be "bred" into whites within a few generations, though. A lot of people only opposed slavery because it took away work from white laborers and ruined the whole concept of why they were shipped off to America to begin with. There is a lot out there about this. Cards have been stacked against massive groups of people from the get go. It explains a lot about where certain ideas and belief systems we hold to this day come from. Please go out and educate yourself as much as possible before there is a blackout on the libraries, too.
