Blade Runner 2049

Were you planning to go see Blade Runner 2049? If not, then you should be. If you liked the first one, don't worry, you're going to like this one as well. You know how when a movie sequel or reboot comes out, it's always an updated version with our newer, modern styles, information, technology, etc.? This movie doesn't do that. It's a true continuation of the universe created in Blade Runner. They use practical effects more than CGI, and it's visually stunning. So much so that I am glad I didn't see it in Imax because I would have been distracted or overwhelmed. I also think the small screen (even on a large tv) wouldn't truly do it justice. This is one of those movies that will have you thinking about it later and appreciating it more and more as you do so.
They did an EXCELLENT job with this. We'll no doubt buy it and enjoy it on blu-ray, but I still say you need to see it on a really good regular screen movie theater. And that is really all I can tell you about it, because I wouldn't want to ruin anything else for you.
But it's SO well written. It's so well directed. All of the acting is really good. Yes, even Dave Bautista. The atmosphere of this movie, the absolute respect and love they have for the original comes through and makes this noir at its very finest.

Go see this so we can talk about it.
